Grade 7: Free GESE Exam Resources

Note: The recapitulation below is meant for those who missed the first six
         articles (on Grades 1-6 resources).

Recapitulation

This article seeks to briefly share what the Graded Examinations in Spoken English, or GESE, administered by Trinity College London, as well as by certified or authorized centers worldwide, is basically about.

In addition, it aims to share teaching-learning resources-- particularly Grade 7 FREE resources--that teachers may wish to use as supplementary materials in oral English communication or spoken English classes.

The recap focuses on a) a brief introduction to GESE, and
                               b) GESE Resources.

What follows last is a sample list of YouTube Video Resources for Grade 7.

Brief Introduction to GESE

The Graded Examinations in Spoken English (GESE) are “one-to-one, face-to-face assessments of speaking and listening skills with a Trinity examiner” (www.trinitycollege.com/site/?id=368).

It’s quality-audited by the Association of Language Testers in Europe (ALTE).

Exams are for levels 1 to 12, that is, from Grade 1 to Grade 12. Grade qualifications “offer a progressive framework for the development of English language skills.”

The “achievement of GESE qualifications supports people wishing to develop their proficiency in English language speaking,” either for “personal goals, study, travel, employment, settlement or for visa application purposes."
